🌬 54. Il Colore del Vento Review & Samples — The Color of the Wind

I’m finally introducing one of the new additions to the Nectar Atelier collection — a fragrance that feels like sunlight in silk: weightless, warm, and softly luminous. Il Colore del Vento by Nobile 1942 is a tender, airy concoction with a soft gourmand soul. Created by Maria Celeste Lombardo. I love how this photo captures the beautiful orchid blossoms suspended in the air with a ribbon of silk. Photo: Aura by Fanette Guilloud

Discover Il Colore del Vento through our luxe samples.

Il Colore del Vento opens with a gentle breeze of lemon, laced with the faintest shimmer of ginger. Quickly, the composition softens — champagne bubbles mingle with caramelized sugar and a whisper of coffee, like the warmth of a patisserie carried on the wind. In the drydown, vanilla and white musk create a fluffy yet grounded feeling, sweet without heaviness.

There are no sharp edges — only the quiet pleasure of a scent that lingers like a comforting daydream, leaving the air around you gently perfumed.

I hope you get to try a sample and experience its beauty on your own skin.

With kindness,
🕊 Flor

Try Zouzou by Celine if you are drawn to nostalgic scents that feel like a golden cloud. For something equally soft,  Guerlain Spiritueuse Double Vanille offers golden warmth—boozy vanilla laced with incense and delicate woods, while Guerlain Gourmand Coquin wraps rose, cacao, and black tea in a swirl of spices—decadent yet tender. Amouage Guidance 46 is a bit brighter than the original Amouage Guidance, where pear, saffron, and rose unfold over rich woods and ambergris. Dries Van Noten Soie Malaquais lingers with notes of blackcurrant, rose, and hazelnut—a silky composition that feels both luminous with a gourmand touch. And for a rare, luminous quietude, Amouage Existence glows with skin-warmed florals, aldehydes, and serene radiance—weightless but unforgettable. If you are in the mood for a sparkling rose with dewy petals, try Little Flower by RĂ©gime des Fleurs.
